Lauren Wade and  Sonja Ballmert's goals in the 12th and 16th minutes respectively kept the game on edge throughout as the teams traded opportunities. Just over two minutes into the overtime period, Magda Mosengo's missile from outside the 18-yard box curved past goalkeeper \Hannah Graham to give the Eagles their eighth straight SAC tournament win and sent C-N to their third-straight title game.

King went on a 9-0 run to take an 83-80 lead with 4:30 to play. The Eagles found themselves down four with 1:05 to play after a Je'Don Young 10-foot jumper from the right side of the lane.
