JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's spirit squads are putting on a fundraiser selling formal dresses in order to raise money to go to the National Cheerleaders Association's nationals in April.
The fundraiser is set for Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. in the MSAC Lobby outside Holt Fieldhouse.
Carson-Newman's spirit squads will be selling dresses at that time. They are also looking for donated dresses for use at proms, homecomings, winter formals, etc.
The spirit squads will receive 10 dollars of the price for each dress sold. The remaining profit goes to the original owner of the dress.
Donors can decide the price point for the dress that's been donated to be sold.
