JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman Vice President for Athletics Matt Pope announced Monday morning that the C-N Athletic Department has entered into a five-year partnership with Nike through BSN Sports.
The agreement officially began in July and is part of BSN Sports Collegiate Select Program, which aims to make BSN SPORTS a one-stop provider for all collegiate athletic, intramural, club and staff apparel and equipment to all D1, DII, D3, NJCAA and NAIA schools.
"I am thrilled that under Allen Morgan's leadership, we are committing to this agreement with BSN Sports and Nike as our exclusive supplier for athletic apparel and equipment," Pope said. "Todd Northrop and our representative, Chris Hurst at BSN sports, have been great to work with and Nike-branded products are outstanding for our student-athletes.
"The apparel and equipment truly enhances the Carson-Newman brand, allowing us to recruit and retain the best and brightest student-athletes while also giving us the opportunity to compete at an extremely high level."
The agreement includes numerous incentives in the form of discounts and rewards along with incentives for on-field achievements and additional marketing and promotional opportunities.
