Finalists unveiled for Seventh Annual Frosty Awards, virtual ceremony set for Tuesday

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The finalists for all 14 Frosty Awards categories have been announced prior to the seventh annual rendition of the ceremony, set for Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.

This year's finalists are:

Male Athlete of the Year - Desmond Fairell (Football), Tom Forster (Golf), Devon Moore (Track and Field), Rondrow Peebles (Football)

Female Athlete of the Year -  Morgan Ballard (Volleyball), Erin Edwards (Volleyball), Kayla Marosites (Basketball), Mary Northcutt (Swimming) 

Team of the Year - Football, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Basketball

Team Performance of the Year - Football v. Tusculum, Men's Golf at the UNG Invite, Volleyball v. USC Aiken, Women's Basketball v. Catawba 

Play of the Year - Tobias Karlsen (Soccer), Romain Kelly (Football), Volleyball's region-title clinching point, Braxton  Westfield (Football)

Upset of the Year - Baseball v. Tampa, Football at Bowie State, Volleyball v. Wingate, Women's Soccer v. LMU

Comeback of the Year - Football at Limestone, Men's Basketball v. Lenoir-Rhyne, Men's Golf at the UNG Invite, Softball at Tusculum

Male Freshman of the Year - Troy Dendy (Football), Christian Shouse (Track and Field), Ids Waterbolk (Tennis), Robert Zemturis (Swimming) 

Female Freshman of the Year - Manon Compagner (Swimming), Kailee Morgan (Swimming), Shannon Smith (Softball), Braelyn Wykle (Basketball)
