Corey Lamson and Lucas Watson lead Blue Knighthawks to 4-1 win

Freshman Lucas Watson picks up the win in Game 3 for the Blue Knighthawks, going 6 innings and giving up only 3 hits.  The righthander did an oustanding job all day.  The only real threat by the Orange Team was in the 6th inning.  A leadoff single by Cody Nix was followed by a walk.  With two men on, Derek Long flied out to centerfield.  Nix advanced to third, but the Blue Team would get an out at first base.  Watson then got Jon Dalton to pop up to the catcher and stop the only threat of the day.  The only run Watson surrendered was a solo home run in the 4th inning by Jon Dalton.  The Blue team would score one in the first on a Zach Long solo home run.  The big blow would come in the third inning.  Zach Long would get a 1-out single, followed by a Mills Rogers walk.  Corey Lamson then delivered a home run over the centerfield wall and give the Knighthawks a 4-0 lead.  Chase Boruff would pitch the seventh inniing and strike out two.  Evan Faithfull would pick up the loss for the Orange team, going 4 1/3 innings, 5 hits and 4 runs.

The Blue Team has a 2-1 game lead in best of five series- Blue Team leads overall score 15-14.
