Orange Jack O'Lanterns win fifth game of series and win overall runs scored title

Blue Team won the best of five series 3-1 and had a 24-15 lead in total runs scored.  The Orange Team needed to win by 10 or more runs to keep from losing the total runs scored.  The Orange would score 3 runs in the 4th inning, Jeff Lockwood and Wes Dozier would hitt back to back doubles to start the inning.  They would score in the inning as well as Derek Long, who had walked.  In the 6th inning, trailing the overall score 25-17, Orange would stage a comeback.  Scott Davis started the inning with a single, Lance Reed walked, Joey Schultz followed with a single to drive in 1 run.  Cody Nix would single to drive in the second run of the inning.  With the overall score 24-20, Jon Moore would single to load the bases.  Leadoff hitter Tyler Davis would pop up for the first out.  Jeff Lockwood would then fight off several 2 strike pitches and hit a dramatic home run to tie the game.  For extra innings, each team started with a man at 2nd base.  The Blue Knighthawks would score a run on a Cory Lamson single with 2 outs.  In the bottom on the 8th, Orange Team would score their run on a Clark Paschal squeeze bunt and a error on the play.   The inning started with a sacrifice bunt to move the runner to third.  Jeff Lockwood and Wes Dozier would be walked.  Clark Pasqual would execute the squeeze and was safe on a error.  After a strikeout, Lance Reed was walked to bring home the winning run.

With the Orange Team win with the overall score, the Blue Team has to paint the fences at the baseball field on the weekends.  By winning the series, the Blue Team gets dinner at a local restaurant. 

Wes McIntyre was chosen Player of the Series.  He won 2 games in the series.

This concludes the fall season.  The Eagles will start individual workouts and conditioning.
