Eagles vs. Scots Postponed Due to Rain

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Due to inclement weather on campus, Wednesday afternoon's game between the Carson-Newman Eagles baseball team and the Maryville Scots has been postponed.

The teams will make up the contest later this season, but a date has not been determined at this time.

Yesterday the Eagles rallied for four runs in the bottom of the eighth to power past no. 7 Lander 5-3. The Eagles have now won two games over ranked opponents in their last four contests.

The Eagles continue their homestand on Friday, welcoming the no. 19 Tusculum Pioneers for a three-game series at the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex. The series begins with Friday's game at 2 p.m. and coverage of the game is available on the Coca-Cola Eagle Sports Network.
