JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Wednesday's scheduled doubleheader between the Carson-Newman Eagles (12-7, 8-1 South Atlantic Conference) and the University of Alabama-Huntsville Chargers (16-3) has been postponed due to forecasted inclement weather on the Carson-Newman campus.
The teams will now play a single nine-inning game on Wednesday April 24 at 3 p.m. at the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex.
The Eagles are off to the best start of any team in the South Atlantic Conference with an 8-1 mark in conference play.
Carson-Newman will next play a weekend SAC series at Mars Hill. Friday's game is at 2 p.m., with a Saturday doubleheader beginning at noon.
