Rain alters three-game series with Tusculum

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - A rainy Friday afternoon in East Tennessee has pushed Carson-Newman baseball's final South Atlantic Conference series of the season to Saturday and Sunday. The Eagles will travel to Pioneer Park to play Tusculum on Saturday for the regularly scheduled doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. The series will conclude on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Saturday marks Tusculum's Senior Day with the ceremony taking place prior to the first pitch of game one of the series.

The Eagles can finish anywhere from the No. 2 seed to the No. 9 spot looking to finish in the top-eight slots for next week's tournament at Smokies Stadium. Overall, between the eligible teams in the league, there are 32 different tiebreaker scenarios.
