Steady rain shifts schedule for Eagles at SAC Baseball Championships

KODAK, Tenn. - With rain falling in East Tennessee and a marathon of a contest in the middle game of Saturday, Carson-Newman's game against Tusculum has been moved to Sunday morning at 10 a.m in the South Atlantic Conference Baseball Championships.

Catawba allowed three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to allow Lincoln Memorial to tie the score at eight after four hours of action at Smokies Stadium. Rain suspended action shortly after 8 p.m. leaving the Eagles and Pioneers to wait until Sunday to play.

The winner of the meeting will play Sunday at noon if Catawba beats LMU while the loser would play at 3:45 p.m

If LMU beats Catawba, the winner will play at 7:30 p.m. while the loser would play at noon Sunday at Smokies Stadium.
