Mother Nature washes out C-N's SAC finale at Mars Hill

MARS HILL, N.C. - As rain continues to fall around the Southeast Region, Sunday's baseball game between Carson-Newman and Mars Hill has been cancelled bringing an end to the regular season of the South Atlantic Conference.

The Eagles are the No. 7 seed in this week's SAC Baseball Championships and will play a single elimination game Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. from Smokies Stadium against sixth-seeded Coker.

Prior to the start of the conference tournament, coach Tom Griffin's group will play host to Bluefield State Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex. It will be broadcast on the Eagle Sports Network as it will be on site for the broadcast coverage on cneagles.com/live featuring an audio and video stream set to begin at 2:45 p.m.
