Series finale against Northwood washed out by Mother Nature

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Sunday's series finale against Northwood has been cancelled due to morning rain in the East Tennessee region and precipitation in the forecast for the rest of the day.

The Eagles won the series taking two out of three for a third straight season against Northwood having won nine of the 13 all-time meetings between the two programs.

Coach Tom Griffin's team will turn their focus to Monday afternoon with a road trip to Lee slated for a 4 p.m. first pitch. C-N host Virginia-Wise on Wednesday at 2 p.m. to restart a five-game homestand.
