Clark named MVP of Pilot Rocky Top League

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Carson-Newman men's basketball senior guard Charles Clark (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) has been named the Most Valuable Player of the Pilot Rocky Top Summer League by league commissioner Andre Whitehead.

Clark led his team to a 4-1 record and helped the Rice Buick GMC team cement itself as the league's top scoring offense and top scoring defense. 

Clark scored 25.8 points per game on 59 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from three. 

The senior from Murfreesboro adds that plaudit to the tail end of a junior year in which he became C-N's third NCAA Division II All-American, the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year and the C-N Male Athlete of the Year.
