VIDEO: Holt Fieldhouse Floor Installation
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's 66-year-old basketball arena - Holt Fieldhouse - received a face lift over the summer.
For the first time since the late 1980s, the playing surface in the venerated facility has been redone.
Carson-Newman Athletics is offering commemorative floor pieces from the previous gym floor for sale. Floor pieces may be purchased by visiting here.
The cost is 25 dollars for a piece of floor without paint and 30 dollars for a piece of floo with paint. Shipping is 10 dollars, however, on-campus pickup is available to avoid shipping costs. Limit 10 pieces per customer.
The old floor at Holt saw both men's and women's basketball teams play in the Sweet 16 (men in 2002 and women in 2018) on it. The men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball teams earned a combined 22 South Atlantic Conference titles while utilizing the floor.
