JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The Carson-Newman cheer and dance teams brought home plenty of hardware following a trip to cheer and dance camps over the weekend.
The C-N cheer team won second place in rally routine to earn a bronze bid to nationals. The Eagles faced about 30 other squads.
The dance crew placed third in team dance and also roped in a bronze nationals bid. There were approximately 20 opposing dance teams at the competition.
Carson-Newman mascot Talon brought home most improved mascot and also earned All-American status as one of the top five mascots at the camp.
