JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – An Oregon-based digital artist has created an 8-bit pixel art rendering of Carson-Newman's mascot Talon. 

Ian Cavalier, Director of Athletic Communications Adam Cavalier's cousin, created the art as a part of his Mascot Mashup series.  Talon is the third Division II mascot Ian Cavalier has created and the 100^th collegiate mascot overall.
