JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman's dance team will play host to a tryout on August 20 at 7 p.m. in the three-gym area of the Maddox Student Activities Center.
The tryout is open to Carson-Newman students with GPA's of 2.0 or higher. Students expecting to tryout should fill out the Carson-Newman Cheer/Dance Waiver and Carson-Newman Tryout Application.
Those who make the team will perform at all home football and basketball games.
Participants at the tryout should wear a solid color tank top with yoga pants or workout shorts. They will learn the C-N fight song and go over dance team technique.
