JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman's spirit squads and coach Christy Bowlin have announced the creation of Talon's Tumblers – an acrobatics and gymnastics class for children in grades 3-8.
Classes meet Wednesday's from 4-5 p.m. in the three-gym area of the Maddox Student Activities Center beginning August 12. The classes are in two, three-month terms. One runs Aug. 12 through Nov. 18. A second session begins Jan. 6 and ends April 27.
Bowlin and members of the C-N cheer and dance teams will teach the classes, which cost 150 dollars per term.
All participants will be invited to perform during two athletic events: 1) Pregame of the Sept. 19th C-N football game versus Catawba and 2) One home Men's Basketball Game (date to be determined)
