JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Each week during the 2016 football season, an individual or a group of individuals within the Carson-Newman football program will be featured in a segment that appears on The Ken Sparks Show.
This week, Eagle Sports Network broadcaster Michael Wottreng spotlights senior linebacker Lane Bloom (Maryville, Tenn.) and his journey from a baseball player to a standout football player for Carson-Newman.
Senior linebacker Lane began his career as a baseball player before making the move to Mossy Creek to play football.
