April 25, 2017SALISBURY, N.C. – A chip-in by Anthony Marcinelli (Knoxville, Tenn.) on the fourth playoff hole of the South Atlantic Conference Championships propelled the Carson-Newman men’s golf team past the Coker Cobras and allowed the Eagles to capture their first conference title since 2014 on Tuesday at the Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, N.C.

Rain in Salisbury causes changes to SAC Championships schedule
April 24, 2017SALISBURY, N.C. – After more than four inches of rain in the last 24 hours at the SAC Men’s Golf Championships in Salisbury, N.C. caused flooding on the Country Club of Salisbury’s back nine, the tournament committee decided on Monday to change the tournament to a 27-hole event rather than the 54 that were originally scheduled and cancel all play on Monday. The competition will be completed with nine more holes on Tuesday.

April 21, 2017ROCK HILL, S.C. – Tom Forster (Oundle, England) became the first Eagle in more than five years to be named South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year on Friday and he also garnered a spot on the All-SAC First-Team. Teammates Jake Headrick (Maryville, Tenn.) and Dalton Reese (Warrenton, Ga.) were selected for the All-SAC Second-Team.

New GCAA national poll ranks Eagles 25th
