NORMAN, Okla. – Tom Forster added on to his list of career accolades with a third-straight selection to the PING All-Southeast Region team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

This laurel marks the fourth season in-a-row that Carson-Newman has been represented on the list. Andrew Hall kicked off the parade of plaudits in 2016. Before that, a trio of Eagles – Gavin Hay, Liam Ashby and Jonathan Kim-Moss, landed on the team in 2012.

Forster had an impressive junior campaign, leading the team with an adjusted scoring average of 71.5 through 28 rounds of play. That clip now leads the program for the best scoring average in a single season, giving him the top three spots on the list. He made the starting lineup in all 10 of the team's events, serving as the No. 1 seed for the Orange and Blue in nine of those tournaments.

The Jack Nicklaus Award semifinalist reeled in seven top-10 finishes on the year with three in the top-five. His lone win on the season came at the Southern Tide Classic with a 12-under three-round total, giving him his third career win. His 202 total in the event marked a new career-low and tied for the second-lowest 54-hole round score in South Atlantic Conference history.

The three-time All-SAC first-team selection carded the team's lowest round score of 67 three times this season.

Forster was one of four SAC players selected. He was joined by Lincoln Memorial's Dan Bradbury and Sam Broadhurst as well as Queens' Jonathan Noble.
