Bio
2024 (Sophomore): Was one of just five Eagles to start every game that he played in, making 15 starts in C-N's 16 games. The centerback totaled 1251 minutes on the pitch, third-most on the team. Played the full 90 minutes in 12 of his 15 appearances. Only game he missed was because of the number of yellow cards (7) he recieved during the season. Recorded four shots, none of them found the target.
2023 (Freshman): As the season grew on, Coles saw his time on the pitch only increase, starting five of the final seven games of the season. In total, he played 10 games and had eight starts. He recorded his first career assist on Sept 20. versus Emory & Henry in a 3-0 win.

Carson-Newman (1-7-3, 1-4-1 SAC) plays its penultimate road game of the 2025 regular season when it visits Lincoln Memorial (4-7-1, 4-2-1 SAC) tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m.
For the second time in conference play this season, Carson-Newman (1-7-3, 1-4-1 SAC) fell behind early because of a pair of goals and never recovered, falling to Lenoir-Rhyne (5-4-2, 4-2-2 SAC) 3-0 on Saturday evening at McCown Field.
Carson-Newman suffered its (1-6-2, 1-3 SAC) third loss in South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday night, seeing Emory & Henry (3-3-2, 2-2-1) score the game’s only goal in the 81st minute to seal the win.
In its final non-conference game of the season, Carson-Newman (0-5-2) played the final 70 minutes at a disadvantage and saw Montevallo (1-2-2) score three unanswered goals to drop a Monday afternoon affair at McCown Field.

The South Atlantic Conference has announced its preseason all-conference teams and players to watch, with three Eagles being recognized by the league office. Senior forward Ben Dukes (Southampton, England) and junior midfielder Mitchell Honcoop (Nieuw-Vennep, Netherlands) were chosen as preseason all-conference first team picks. While, junior defender Dan Coles (Rugby, England) was picked as a player to watch this season.
