Lady Eagles' Williams shares SAC Player of the Week honors after 4-0 week

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Carson-Newman forward Zoriah Williams has been named South Atlantic Conference co-Player of the Week after leading the Lady Eagles to a 4-0 record, including a pair of wins over ranked teams, the league announced on Tuesday.

Williams averaged 14.8 points and 9.5 rebounds in leading Carson-Newman to a perfect 4-0 week, including a pair of top-15 upsets. 

The senior's best performance of the week came in C-N's 54-48 win over No. 12 Delta St., in which she scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.  She also had a double-double in an 83-67 win over King with 16 points and 13 rebounds. 

Williams was key in the Lady Eagles' 88-82 overtime victory over No. 15 Lander as well, finishing with 14 points and nine boards.  On the week, she shot 57.5-percent and also added eight steals.

The first team All-SAC selection leads the Lady Eagles in points per game at 15.8 and rebounds 9.2 through five games, and already has two double-doubles.

Williams shares the honor with Lenoir-Rhyne's Cameron Sealey, who led L-R to a 3-0 week. Catawba's Keon Moore took the honors on the men's side.
