INDIANAPOLIS – A day after the regular season came to a close, Carson-Newman finds itself ranked in another national poll, making its way back to No. 25 according to the latest ranking from Golfstat.

This is the first time the Eagles have made it into the top 25 of the national poll since Oct. 17, 2018 when they held the same spot.

The Orange and Blue are also No. 25 in the most recent Women's Golf Coaches Association national ranking, released on March 15.

This latest move up the national ranks comes after C-N secured its seventh top-three finish on the season with a third-place showing at the Sunoco Campbell Oil Classic. There, the Eagles reset the program's best 54-hole score with a 905 due in large part to its 292 in the second round, tying the second-lowest single round score in South Atlantic Conference history.

This season, the Eagles have averaged an adjusted score of 76.7 with one tournament win, coming at the King Invitational back in September.

In the player rankings, Maeve Cummins (Waringstown, Northern Ireland) stands as the lone Eagle on the list at No. 123 nationally. The freshman holds an adjusted scoring average of 76.22 with five top-10 finishes, three of those coming in the top-five of tournament fields.

C-N is one of three SAC schools represented in the ranking. Anderson sits at No. 22 while Wingate is No. 24.

The next event on the docket for the Eagles is the South Atlantic Conference Championship. Lenoir-Rhyne will host the event set to take place April 7-9 from the Lake Hickory Country Club - Catawba Springs Golf Course in Hickory, N.C.
