INDIANAPOLIS – After a fourth-place finish at the South Atlantic Conference Championship, No. 24/25 Carson-Newman has slid down one spot to No. 14 in the South region ranking, released by the NCAA on Thursday afternoon.

The week was highlighted by Maeve Cummins (Waringstown, Northern Ireland) winning the top medalist crown, giving her the second win of her career. The SAC Freshman of the Year's three-over total of 219 tied for the third-lowest 54-hole score in conference history.

The Eagles are one of three SAC teams to land in the regional rankings with Anderson at No. 11 and Wingate at No. 13. The Bulldogs jumped C-N after finishing third in the conference tournament.
