JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - With an early test against ranked opponents in West Florida (#10) and Columbus State (#12) next weekend, the second-ranked Eagles displayed its preseason hype video on Saturday.
Heading into his second season, Coach Simon Duffy returns nine of the 2017 team's 11 starters and 15 overall, a group in which six were named to the all-South Atlantic Conference teams.
C-N comes off the most prestigious season in program history with a trip to the National Championship and an overall record of 21-1-1.
The Eagles will kick off 2018 against the Argonauts on Aug. 31 in Columbus, Ga. with a game time of 4:30 p.m. The Cougars, who are the host of three teams through the weekend, take on Duffy's squad on Sept. 2 at 2:30 p.m from the Walden Soccer Complex.
