Siebert nets SAC All-Tournament Team honor

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Carson-Newman utility player Elayna Siebert (Knoxville, Tenn.) has earned a spot on the SAC all-tournament team, the league office announced Tuesday.

This is the second straight year Siebert has earned all-tournament honors from the league office. 

Siebert was 7-for-12 at the plate for the tournament. She produced a four-hit game in the Eagles' final tournament game against Anderson.

Siebert also had a double and a home run against Newberry. 

Siebert and the rest of the Eagles will find out their NCAA tournament fate when the brackets are released for the region tournament May 4 at 10 a.m.  Carson-Newman was ranked fourth in the region ranking prior to the SAC tournament.
