Wet weather rearranges softball slate

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman softball's doubleheader with King has been postponed.

The Eagles and Tornado, the preseason Conference Carolinas favorite, were originally scheduled to square off in Bristol Wednesday at 1 p.m.  However, a line of storms moving through the area has laid waste to those plans.

The teams will make up the games at a date as yet to be determined.

Carson-Newman is scheduled to next take the field at home Thursday against Lees-McRae. However, the forecast doesn't look promising for that one either.
