JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - For a third straight doubleheader, Carson-Newman softball has been rained out.
The Eagles twinbill with West Virginia State originally scheduled for Saturday at noon as been postponed. A make up date is as yet to be determined.
Carson-Newman's next game is scheduled, Mother Nature willing, for Feb. 26 at Augusta.
The Eagles are ranked 11th in the country in the NFCA poll, the C-N's highest ranking in 11 years.
