JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Thanks to continued precipitation over the Lakeway Area, Carson-Newman softball's Tuesday twinbill with Lees-McRae has been postponed. A makeup date will be set at a later date.
After rain washed away the Lee Invitational in Chattanooga over the weekend, this marks the fifth and sixth consecutive games that Carson-Newman hasn't been able to play as scheduled.
The Eagles, fingers crossed, will return to action at the Bearcat/Fleet Invite Friday morning at 10 a.m. against Young Harris.
