Threat of rain pushes back King doubleheader

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman softball's doubleheader at King has been moved from Tuesday at 1 p.m. to Thursday at 1 p.m. due to the threat of rain across east Tennessee.

The Eagles carry an eight-game win streak into their non-conference matchup with the Tornado.  Carson-Newman downed King earlier this year at the Bearcat/Fleet Invitational 9-0.

The Tornado has won three straight, including a win over top-20 Lenoir-Rhyne.
