SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Carson-Newman sophomore swimmers Ryan Burcham (Lenoir City, Tenn.) and Margaret Stansberry (Knoxville, Tenn.) were named the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Swimmers of the Week after notching season best times at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

The two Swimmer of the Week honors are the first for an Eagle this season.

The Lenoir City, Tenn.-native also competed in the 200 Individual Medley, 200 Fly and the 200 Medley. Burcham swam the team's quickest times this season in the 200 Fly and Medley. The sophomore placed 13th in the 200 Fly.

Stansberry swam B-cut times in the 200 Free, 200 Individual Medley and 100 Back in Atlanta; she was also a member of the 200 Free, 200 Medley and 400 Medley relay teams that swam provisional cut times.
