JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The Carson-Newman and Catawba swim meet originally scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled due to the forecasted Snowpocalypse and potentially treacherous travelling conditions for the Eagles' venture to the Tar Heel State.
The meet was slated to begin Saturday at 1 p.m. in Salisbury, N.C. and served as the final regular season meet for Carson-Newman. The meet will not be rescheduled.
The 17th-ranked women's team ends the season 5-0 in dual meets and possesses a 10-meet win streak dating back to January 2014; the men's team ended the 2015-16 regular season with a 3-1 record.
The Eagles will now look ahead to the Bluegrass Mountain Conference at the Rock Hill Aquatic Center in Rock Hill, S.C. on Feb. 10th-13th.
