JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman volleyball team kicks off its 2016 season Sept. 2 with the first of four matches against nationally-ranked foes in the Hampton Inn-Vitational in Pensacola, Fla. The program released its preseason video video Saturday morning.

The Eagles won their first Southeast Region Championship in 2015 and enter the 2016 campaign with four starters returning. C-N has a new coaching staff led by Dave Franklin and six freshman that will enter the fray looking to build upon the recent success of the program.

The 2016 schedule features 15 home matches with the first contest marking the open of South Atlantic Conference action on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. against Mars Hill at Holt Fieldhouse.
