Laux is in her first year as Carson-Newman's Director of Eagle Club and External Operations.  

She was promoted from within the athletic department after working as the department's athletic event, marketing and promotions coordinator. Now she is in charge of the Eagle Club and overseeing gameday operations, special events and awards ceremonies.  

She will retain responsibilities coordinating on-site NCAA tournament events, ticketing and promotions. 

Laux transferred to the athletic department from Carson-Newman's advancement office, where she assisted the Vice President for Advancement in meeting Carson-Newman's fundraising goals. 

Prior to working in Carson-Newman's advancement office, Laux served as the visual arts director at Cornerstone Academy. 

Laux studied at Bowling Green State University for her undergraduate degree before obtaining two master's degrees from Carson-Newman in social entrepreneurship and business administration. 

She is married to Matt Laux. The couple resides in Morristown and has three children.
