Lander University’s College of Arts and Humanities celebrated academic excellence and creativity during its Honors and Awards Program.
The 1966 hit, “Double Shot of My Baby’s Love,” catapulted Lander College student John McElrath and his band, the Swingin’ Medallions, into national fame.
Recognized for his work giving students hands-on experiences away from the classroom, Dr. David Zinn has been chosen as the 2025 recipient of the Mary Frances Poole Alston Award.
Construction is underway on Lander University's new, state-of-the-art nursing building, and the public is invited to celebrate this exciting milestone at an official groundbreaking celebration on Tuesday, May 6, at 4:30 p.m.
