Tickets for Eagles' contest with LMU at Smokies Park on sale
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman's baseball team will hit the field at Smokies Park, the home of Chicago Cubs Double-A affiliate the Tennessee Smokies, next Friday (March 29) for a contest with LMU.
It's the second straight year the Eagles will open their series with the Railsplitters at the home of the Smokies. Carson-Newman will be the road team before the series shifts to Harrogate, Tenn. for a doubleheader Saturday.
First pitch is slated for 5 p.m. from Sevierville
Tickets are 10 dollars and can be purchased by contacting the baseball office at 865-471-3465. Carson-Newman receives six dollars on all tickets that are purchased prior to the game.
The game marks the fifth straight year the Eagles have played at Smokies Park. Last year, Carson-Newman took a 9-8 decision in a walk-off win following an LMU rally.
