Baseball’s Saturday tilt with Limestone nixed

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Due to a Saturday forecast of heavy rains, Carson-Newman's Saturday baseball game with Limestone has been cancelled.  The game will not be rescheduled.

The cancellation ends Carson-Newman's season.  The Eagles finish 22-27 with a 7-6 record against nationally-ranked competition.  Carson-Newman won at least one game with in every series it played against those ranked opponents.
