JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The Blue team had three pitchers combined to no-hit the Orange team but alert base running from John Sharpe produced the game's only run in the fourth inning as Tyler Miller's Orange side took game four to win the series 3-1 Monday afternoon at the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex.
John Sharpe (Franklin, Tenn.) helped the Orange group manufacture a run in the bottom of the fourth. Without a hit in the game, he drew a seven-pitch walk, stole second and moved to third on a wild pitch. Mark Treadway (Friendsville, Tenn.) hit a fly ball to deep center to plate Sharpe and make it 1-0.
Overall the Orange had three base runners all game with Charlie Brown (Sevierville, Tenn.) drawing walks in the third and sixth innings.
The Blue team produced four hits on the day. In the top of the third inning, a walk and a knock put two on with one out but a fly out and fielder's choice ground out ended the threat.

It looked promising in the top of the sixth as Micah Genter (Jasper, Tenn.) drew a walk to start the inning. On a hit-and-run, Alan Silva (Sevierville, Tenn.) hit a fly ball to right that doubled up Genter to erase him on the base paths.
Refusing to go quietly, the Blue team put the tying run on base with one out in the seventh on a walk to Eric Rigsby (Jonesboro, Tenn.). Two batters later down to its final strike, Kilian Daughtry (Simpsonville, S.C.) poked a single to right field. On a 1-2 pitch, Chris Caldwell (Seymour, Tenn.) popped out to Malik Kyle (Jefferson City, Tenn.) at first base to send the Orange Team into celebration with a dog pile near the first-base bag.
Ryan Victory (Brentwood, Tenn.) earned the win on the rubber firing five shutout frames allowing two hits and one walk on 58 pitches. Clay Simpson (Erwin, Tenn.) and Blake Stansberry (Knoxville, Tenn.) threw the final two stanzas to secure the win.
Blue team starter Dalton (Powell, Tenn.) retired the first eight men he faced in the game and did not allow a hit but walked two and allowed the only run of the game to score as he struck out three in four frames.
Game five will take place Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 from the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex with the Blue team leading the runs battle 23-17. Tanner 'Chubbs' Swift will be on the microphone for the Eagle Sports Network to provide commentary on cneagles.com/live.
