JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- Carson-Newman is set to travel to Wingate, N.C. to take on the Bulldogs for the last match of the 2019 season on Saturday. 

The Bulldogs are 14-4 overall on the season and 8-1 in conference play with their only loss coming from Lenoir-Rhyne who the Eagles fell to just three days ago. Wingate has a power-packed team with Daniel Belsito nationally ranked at No. 30 on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association top 50 list. He and his doubles partner Josep Canyadell Fabregas are also nationally ranked as a duo at No. 9.

The Eagles have gone 3-16 overall this season and 2-7 in conference play. For seniors Jesus Bacete-Sanz (Madrid, Spain) and Marc Bantel (Urbach, Germany), this will be their last match as Eagles.

The squads will begin play at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon in N.C. For results and updates check back on cneagles.com.
