2019: As a sophomore, Patterson appeared in 32 games and started 31 for the Eagles at third base. She was 4-for-34 at the plate on the year. While she only drove in three runs on the year, they came at pivotal moments. She tallied a two-RBI knock up the box against Wingate to give the Eagles a win over the Bulldogs. She also got the scoring started in a Southeast Regional win over Anderson (5/8). She crossed home plate a career-best three times in that win over Anderson.
2018: Patterson appeared in six games and started one during her freshman season. She was 0-for-3 at the plate and scored a run.
HIGH SCHOOL: Patterson finished her career at Union Country with a .385 careerr batting average and 10 home runs. She hit better than .400 in both her sophomore and senior seasons with .441 and .486 tallies, rerspectively. She was a four-time all-district pick and earned All-State honors from the TSCA in 2016. As a senior, she was named district player of year while leading UCHS to back-to-back district titles, including the program's first state tournament run in 2016. A skilled volleyball player too, she was a three-time all-district volleyball player and the district's player of the year as a senior.
PERSONAL: The daughter of Rodney and Roxanne Patterson. She plans to study Graphic Design at Carson-Newman. She was her class valedictorian. Her older sister Ali is a cheerleader at Carson-Newman.
