Talk to your Coach first!

1. The student-athlete must provide written notification (send email to sstrudwick@cn.edu) before they can be entered into the NCAA Transfer Portal;  

2. Prior to Carson-Newman entering a student-athlete’s information into the NCAA Transfer Portal, the student-athlete must complete the NCAA Division II Transfer Educational Module and provide confirmation of completion to their institution; Click the link below after reading through this document. 3. Upon receiving confirmation of completion of the Division II Transfer Educational Module and written notification of transfer from the student-athlete, the student-athlete’s institution must enter their information into the NCAA Transfer Portal within seven-consecutive calendar days of receipt of confirmation of the completion of the Division II Transfer Educational Module or written notification of transfer from the student-athlete, whichever occurs later.

Student Athlete must attest they have read and understand the SAC Inter-Conference Transfer Rule.
