High School: Was coach Sid Fritts' team captain his sophomore, junior and senior years at Elbert County.  All-Region honorable mention his sophomore year, second team his junior year and first team his senior year.  Named Exterminator of the Game multiple times during his junior and senior years.  Led football team to the Elite Eight in 2011 and a regional championship in 2010.  

Personal: Son of Chuck and Mary Ann Martin.  His oldest brother Parker Martin played baseball at the University of Georgia after transferring there from Anderson.  Majoring in Business.
