2016: Saw action in eight games with two starts along the defensive line.  He made five tackles and a half sack on the season.  Transitioned to tight end in spring practice.  Made his half sack against North Greenville (11/5).  

2015: Appeared in eight games for  the Eagles with 10 tackles and a half tackle for loss.  Had a career-high four stops in the Eagles' win over Brevard (10/10) while he notched three tackles in a loss to Catawba (9/19).  His half tackle for loss came in the opener against the University of the Cumberlands. 

2014: Did not appear in any games.

2013: Made one appearance against Brevard (9/21) and registered two tackles 

High School: An offensive lineman in highschool, he had the most pancake block on his team with more than60.  Helped lead the Trojans to a 2010 Florida 4a StateChampionship and 7A runners-up spot in 2012.  Was a part ofdistrict championship teams in all four years of his high schoolcareer.  He was elected permanent team captain his senior yearand was named the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Offensive Lineman ofthe week once in 2011 and 2012.  

Personal:  The son of Clay and Tina Mason,plans to  study political science at Carson-Newman.  Hegraduated Magma Cum Laude and was a member of theNational Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.  He also was namedJunior Orange Bowl Committee Scholar Athlete of Florida 7A StateChampionship, Tallahassee Quarterback Club Amos P.
