2015: Lockett earned first team All-America honors from Daktronics in addition to landing on both Daktronics and NFCA's all-region first teams.  She was also first team All-SAC and a two-time SAC Player of the Week, National Women Play Ball DII Athlete of the Week and TSWA Player of the Week, she was top 30 in the nation with her .452 batting average, foruth in the league with 12 home runs and second in the league with 55 RBI.  Lockett had three, four-hit games this season (Bluefield State, Fort Valley State and Tusculum), and she set Carson-Newman's single game records against the Blues for home runs (three), RBI (nine) and total bases (13). She scored a school record five runs against Fort Valley State. Lockett put together a 12-game hitting streak which included nine straight mutli-hit games. She had a team-best 22 multi-hit games this season and a team-best 15 mutli-RBI games.  To go along with her 12 home runs, she also hit 17 doubles, one off Sara Kelley's single-season school record.  Lockett also hit four triples. She led C-N with 132 total bases and a .841 slugging percentage. She was error free in centerfield and had a couple outfield assists.  Lockett had four games where she hit two doubles.  She stole two bases against both Coker (4/23) and Erskine (3/30).  

Prior to Carson-Newman: Lockett transfers in from Bethune-Cookman where she appeared in one game for the Wildcasts in 2014, but did not register any statistics. Prior to B-C, she starred at Citrus College, as a sophomore,  she appeared in 33 games and batted .356 with 5 HR and 27 RBI.  Lockett touted a slugging percentage of .624 and OBP of .437.  Lockett registered a game-winning double in an opening-round playoff victory and was named First Team Academic All-American. As a freshman with the Owls, she appeared in 36 games with 35 starts.  She was a second team All-WSC Blue Division honoree and hit .330 with 27 runs scored, three doubles, one triple, four home runs, and 16 RBI. 

High School: She played high school ball for four varsity seasons at Colony.  Lockett earned first team All-Mt. Baldy League honors as a junior and senior.  She picked up second team All-Mt. Baldy League honors as a freshman and sophomore.

Personal: She is the daughter of Byrent and Jennifer Lockett and is majoring in Elementary Education.
