2018: Injured the latter half of the year, Richardson started six games and appeared in 12 before being sidelined with a shoulder injury. Richardson hit .364 before her injury, collecting four hits in 11 at-bats.  She scored three runs.  Matched a career high with two hits against August on Feb. 18.  

2017: One of the fastest players on the Carson-Newman roster, Richardson appeared in 50 games and started 44 after being sidelined with an early season injury.  Primarily used as a flex player, She only saw 32 appearances at the plate and hit .219 with seven hits.  A quality defensive outfielder, Richardson only made one error against 45 putouts.  She had her only multi-hit effort of the year against Wingate (4/14).  She hit her only double of the season against Lincoln Memorial (4/11).  

HIGH SCHOOL: Richardson makes her way to Mossy Creek from Elizabethton High School where she played for Ken Harden.  She was a two-sport athlete and also played volleyball.  On the diamond, Richardson hits .321 for the Cyclones.  She was an honorable mention all-conference selection as a designated player. 

PERSONAL: A member of the National Honor Society and the All-Academic Softball Team, her mother is Aimee Richardson, her father is Daryl Richardson and intends to study sociology at Carson-Newman.
