2024 (Junior): As Carson-Newman's number two starting pitcher, Cooper threw 41 2/3 innings and posted a 8.21 ERA. He made 11 starts, five of which saw the southpaw allow two earned runs or less. His best and longest outing of the year came on March 8th at UVA Wise. He fired 5 innings of one run, one hit baseball and recorded six punchouts. Two of his final three outings of the season came out of the bullpen, where he threw four innings total and surrended seven earned runs.

Prior to Carson-Newman:  Spent the last couple of seasons at Walters State where helped the Senators get to the NJCAA World Series in 2022. In 26 total appearances, Cooper sported an 8-2 record with a 4.14 ERA. This past season was his busiest year, where he threw 32 1/3 innings and struck out 41 batters. The left-hander made 16 total appearances on the mound, five of which were starts.
