High School: Team captain for Derek Witt at Karns High School. Named the team's player of the week. Started for the Karns varsity his sophomore year, picked up All-District honors that season as well.  Awarded 2009 Karns Rookie of the Year.

Personal: Son of Laura Mahan and Willie Harper. Appreciated the Christ-centered nature of Carson-Newman.  Second honors scholar at Karns.  Pre-physical therapy major.
