HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Ooltewah High School in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he was coached by Shannon Williams. Played football, basketball, and ran track at Ooltewah. Named the District Defensive Lineman of the Year, a TACA East-West All-Star, and a Times Free Press Third Team Best of Preps for his district.

PERSONAL: Son of Carolyn Hammonds. Plans to major in Marketing/Public Relations at Carson-Newman.
