2012: Reeled off the Eagles second longest run of the season with a 69-yard jet against Newberry (9/22). Did not throw a pass in 2012, but rushed 10 times for 163 yards and a pair of scores. Averaged 16 yards a rush. Scored another rushing touchdown against North Greenville. His 69 yards rushing against Newberry were a season high. Appeared in 10 games for the Eagles, sometimes on special teams. Made two special teams tackles and returned 12 kickoffs for 218 yards, 18.2 yards a return with a long of 31 yards.
LAST SCHOOL: Attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Wayne Memorial High School in Detroit, Mich., where he was coached by Craig Hnatuk. Played football and ran track. Was a two-year All-Conference quarterback, was also named to the All-City team and was an Honorable Mention All-Metro selection for West Detroit.
PERSONAL: Son of David and Tina Freeman. Plans to major in Sociology at Carson-Newman.
